WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR MAKEUP

Hi guys, this is heart breaking but i just had to share these tips with you all, and i am guilty of this too.  Yes we all love our favorite cosmetics, but there comes a time when we need to say goodbye.

So i will be sharing  some heart breaking guide on how and when to toss them.


Sorry guys its time for some tough love, we all know how much we love our Mac ruby woo and heroine lipstick , and that mascara that gives you the perfect length and volume, Girl its been quite some time you owned it and its time to let it go. I know its very tempting to hold on to them but trust me , its a smart thing to do.

Here are some helpful tips!

• Do not expose make up to extreme changes in temperature.
• Do not share your make up with friends.
• The more a product has lots of moisture, the shorter its life's pan.
• Always remember the date and period it was opened.
• The ' use by' time frame is not the time of purchase but the time product is opened.
• Products packaged in jars tend to hold unwanted bacteria , due to finger dipping. 

Lipsticks and Lip Glosses 

These are usually good for about ( 1 Year ), since they are applied to the mouth area, its always best to change them often and do not expose them in a hot area.

Pencils

Products like lip liner , eye liner, and brow pencils are usually good for about ( 1-2 Years ) they tend to last really long since they are being sharpened for a clean slate always. but that doesn't mean it has to last forever, you will know when it starts tugging on your skin, pencils can also be cleaned with spritz with alcohol.

Powders

These products are good for about ( 2 Years ) foundation, blush, eye shadows, bronzers, and highlighters. they last longer than other cosmetics , but if they break its a wrap. so toss it before it messes up your make up bag.

Mascara and Liquid liner

Oh my! these last for (3-6 months)  and they are very sensitive products too, and not to be shared with friends. you really have to take note and watch out for these because when it gets infected with a bacteria it could cause redness, itchiness and pinkeye. throw them away when its time.

Foundations and Concealers 

These flawless makeup can last for  ( 1-2 Years ) but guess what? they attracts lots of bacteria especially when they are not in a bottle with a pump,  so if you notice any change in smell or color that means its time to toss. Applying them with bacteria could cause irritation and breakouts. They are meant to cover blemishes not cause them!

In all always follow your instinct, if you feel its time to toss them. please let it go and do so.
